NC keeping vigil on government for its weaknesses

KATHMANDU: Nepal Congress (NC) Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi says his party as the main opposition is supporting the government in its efforts to combat coronavirus.

He, however, said his party is vigilant on the government’s weaknesses while speaking at a program in the capital on Tuesday.

Nidhi said the party will continue health awareness and relief distribution programs at all levels during the existing crisis.

He also pledged to devise efforts in the future too.

NC Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma, meanwhile, alleged the government of failing to address issues such as the coronavirus, Lipu Lekh and the unruly move of Chinese nationals near the Singha Durbar a few days ago.

Sharma said NC, as an opposition party, is expressing its concerns over such matters.
