17,809 PCR tests done so far



KATHMANDU: As many as 17,809 PCR tests for coronavirus have been carried out in the country so far, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Meanwhile, tests through the RDT method have been carried out on 58,546 people.

The ministry said currently around 12,701 people are in quarantine and 153 in isolation in the country.

While a total of 33 have been recovered, the number of infected has reached 134 as of Monday.

Meanwhile, a total of 100,000 RDT testing kits have arrived in Kathmandu on Monday procured by the Department of Health Services through the BIDH Management company. It was brought from China on a Himalayan Airlines aircraft.
