UK PM Boris Johnson discharged from hospital

LONDON: Britain Prime Minister Boris Johnson today left hospital after being treated for coronavirus.

He will, however, not immediately return to work, according to the Downing Street.

PM Johnson, 55, was admitted to St Thomas’ hospital in London 10 days after testing positive for coronavirus.

He spent three nights in intensive care.

PM Johnson will not immediately return to work on the advice of his medical team, reports said.

Meanwhile, he has thanked everybody at St Thomas’ for what he said ‘brilliant care’ he received.
