NRNA launches 24-hour helpline to address problems



KATHMANDU: The Non-resident Nepali Association (NRNA) launched a 24-hour helpline in a bid to address the problems facing the NRNs.

The helpline will be operated by the NRNA’s Kathmandu-based secretariat. It facilitates to solve the problems faced by Nepali students or workers abroad due to the COVID-19 global crisis.

Anyone in a foreign country can dial up at the help line’s mobile phone connections and share their problems.

Likewise, access to helpline has been guaranteed through Viber and Whatsapp.

NRNA Secretary Hem Raj Sharma said three contact numbers — 9841280005 (from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm), 9808312555 (from 5:00 pm to 12:00 midnight) and 9823458204 (from 12:00 midnight to 8:00 am) will be available to have access to the helpline.
