COVID-19 infected Nepali man discharged from hospital in India



AMBALA: A 66-year-old Nepal resident linked to Tablighi Jamaat who tested positive for COVID-19 in Ambala, Haryana on April 2, has now tested negative in two consecutive tests.

He has been discharged from the civil hospital, Ambala Cantonment on Saturday, Indian media reported.

The Nepali man identified as Bodhraj has been shifted to a quarantine facility in GMN College, Ambala Cantonment, and he has been kept separate from other quarantined persons, according to Times of India.

On April 2, Bodhraj along with another Maharashtra based worker (55) of TJ had tested positive for COVID-19 following the district administration conducted random samplings of Jamaatis after finding them from different mosques in Ambala.
