MUNGLIN: The reconstruction of Ichhakamana temple, a historical religious site, has been stalled due to lack of wooden resources.

Ichhakamana is one of the seven sisters of Manakamana of Gorkha.

The reconstruction of the Ichhakamana rural municipality-5-based temple has been postponed due to a shortage of woods, according to temple management committee chairperson Ram Prasad Bohora.

“The temple reconstruction has been halted since last October for no availability of woods”, he said, adding that the process for the arrangement of wooden resources has already initiated.

The temple, surrounded by a green forest area, is located at an altitude of 1,800 meters from sea level.
