Journalist Sabin Dhital manhandled in Portugal



KATHMANDU: Senior Vice Chairman of Non Resident Nepali Association (NRN), Portugal Bhimsen Thapa has manhandled Journalist Sabin Dhital. Dhital is a journalist based in Portugal.

Thapa thrashed journalist Dhital while he was covering an event organized at the capital city Lisbon recently.

The incident has been criticized from all quarters after irate Thapa manhandled Dhital for allegedly unveiling the wrong practices of the organization.

Dhital has filed a case against Thapa at the local police station.

Dhital had reported news about exploitation on workers in agriculture sector in Portugal and incidents of human trafficking.
