Gold becomes dearer by Rs 400 per tola

KATHMANDU: Gold price increased by Rs 400 per tola (11.664 grams) in the domestic market on the first trading day of the week on Sunday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA), the precious yellow metal is being traded Rs 75,000 today.

The fine gold was traded at Rs 74,600 per tola on Friday.

Likewise, tejabi gold has been priced Rs 74,700 per tola today with an increase by Rs 400.

Similarly, the silver price increased by Rs 5 and reached Rs 890 per tola today.

The increase in gold and silver prices in the domestic market owes to increase in bullion prices in the international market. The bullion prices have gone high in the international market due to the risks of a possible war between the USA and Iran.
