KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has offered sorrow over the devastating bushfires in Australia.

In a tweet on Saturday, President Bhandari wished for the concerned authorities to douse the fires at the earliest and appealed to the world community to minimize the effects of climate change by conserving nature and culture.
