Narayani beats Bagmati in Gautam Buddha Cup Cricket Tournament



CHITWAN: Gautam Buddha Cup-2020 Cricket Tournament has kicked off from Saturday in the under-construction Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium.

Team Narayani marked the beginning of its win in the opening match. Team Narayani defeated the Bagmati is super over. In the target given of 26 runs by Narayani in super over, Bagmati made just 20 runs.

The game was played in super over as both the teams made equal 117 runs.

In the tournament organized by Bagmati Province Cricket Association and coordinated by Chitwan Cricket Association, three teams –Bagmati, Narayani, and Rapti–are participating, Chairman of Chitwan Cricket Association Kailash Pradhan said.

On Sunday, Bagmati and Rapti would play in the second match of the tournament.
