Kathmandu Valley confirms 482 new COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 482 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 381 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 32 in Bhaktapur, and 69 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 899 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 247,593 in the country as of Saturday afternoon. The laboratories across the country conducted 5,242 RT-PCR tests in the last 24 hours.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 11,673 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 1,359 infected people got recovery from the virus infection.

So far, 234,231 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, 15 persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths 1,689.
