Portal to provide integrated information on universities

KATHMANDU: A new portal to provide integrated information about the universities across the globe has been brought into operation from today. The website is being run at the initiatives of Nepalis living in Australia.

The website (studyinfocenter.com) would provide information about the universities in an integrated manner to the students at home and abroad.

Former Vice Chancellor of the Tribhuvan University (TU) Kedar Bhakta Mathema virtually marked the beginning of the portal.

Founder of the portal, TN Aryal, said that the website would offer detailed information on Nepal’s all universities and 600 subjects being taught there.

The website contains information on visa policy, study and accommodation costs, employment opportunities for students, and other information on education.

On the occasion, educationist Mathema said that the students are in need for integrated and true information for their informed choice.

He also urged to internationalize the best practices of Nepal’s education.

Similarly, Vice Chancellor of Pokhara University Prof Dr Prem Narayan Aryal said that the portal would be a bridge for cooperation and information exchange among the universities. RSS
