‘Token system’ becomes effective in citizenship card distribution

KATHMANDU: The ‘token system’ initiated by the District Administration Office Jumla has become effective of late.

It was initiated two months back so as to reduce crowd of service recipients and enable a systematic working culture. Chief District Officer Bhupendra Thapa shared that the token system has been brought into operation to provide service on ‘first come, first service’ basis.

“The citizenship section provides a token to the service seeker after s/he gathers all the required documents. The system has become effective when the service recipients get the service in his or her turn on token basis”, CDO Thapa added.

He further said it has substantially helped reduce crowd and enable transparency in works.
