Three killed in Kalanki truck collision on early Thursday



KATHMANDU: Three people have died on the spot after a truck rammed another truck being parked near Makalu Petrol Pump at Kalanki in the Kathmandu Valley Thursday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Roshan Tamang, 24, Madhav Ghimire, 37, of Nuwakot while the identity of the other is yet to be ascertained, said DSP Apil Raj Bohara of Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati.

According to Bohara, the victims were in the moving truck, Ba 5 Kha 8865, that hit the parked truck, Ba 3 Kha 7530.

The condition of Bjaya Tamang who sustained critical injuries in the accident is said to be critical.

Police said they are investigating the case.
