KATHMANDU: MAW Life, the authorized distributor of Jeep in Nepal, has expanded the range of Jeep Compass by introducing the all-new Jeep Compass Diesel Automatic variant in Limited Plus trim that offers all-wheel drive configuration and is powered by 2.0 litre BS6 compliant 9-speed diesel automatic turbo-diesel engine that generates the power of 173 PS and torque of 350Nm.
The new Compass Diesel Automatic, which is agile, quick and powerful that provides a seamless drive experience not only in off-road terrain but also in dense urban area full of dodge potholes, infrastructural construction sites, bottlenecks that lead to heavy traffics.
This is why the new SUV is positioned as ‘The Urban Off-roader’. It is the first in class SUV with 9 speed automatic with 4X4 capability.
The new Compass features Cruise Control, 8.4-inch U-connect infotainment screen with voice control, along with reverse camera and dynamic grid lines functionality, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, plush leather interiors, 8-way powered seat for the driver, auto headlamps, rain sensing Wipers, auto-dimming IRVM, 18 inch alloy wheels and six airbags among the plethora of other features that already exist in the current model.
Dual-zone air conditioning and two-tone interiors, passive entry to the vehicle and push-button start are other features to mention.
It is also offered with the Selec Terrain AWD system with four modes including Auto, Sand, Mud and Snow. This top-end model in the Compass line-up, Limited Plus 9-speed diesel automatic priced at One Crore 18 Lakhs 90 Thousands only.
