COVID-19 infected to be barred from taking PSC’s exam



KATHMANDU: A person infected with COVID-19 will not be allowed to take the exam conducted by the Public Service Commission (PSC).

The commission has issued criteria for conducting and managing the examination, stating that people infected with COVID-19 and living in isolation will not be allowed to take the examination.

In order to appear for the Commission’s examination, the candidates will have to declare themselves infected or not.

This standard shall be followed in the matters related to health security even while conducting the examinations, interviews, group discussions, presentations, etc., related to the experimental / skill test conducted by the Commission.

The commission has also stated that action will be taken as per the existing law.

The government has agreed in principle to open new advertisements and conduct suspended examinations.

An examination center will be set up for 100 candidates. One examination hall / room will be managed with a maximum of 25 candidates. No more than one examination center will be kept in one building.

However, if there is sufficient space / building, more than one center can be placed in the same place.
