Chitwan records 55 fresh COVID-19 cases



CHITWAN: As many as 55 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Chitwan district.

The new cases were confirmed during PCR tests at the laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital on Sunday night.

According to Dr Nitu Adhikari, the chief of COVID laboratory of the hospital, 55 tested positive for the virus out of 235 swab sample tests.

Most of those who tested positive for the virus are from Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

The metropolis has recorded 34 new cases including a six-year-old minor boy, said Adhikari.
