Province 2 sees 132 more coronavirus cases in 24 hours

JANAKPURDHAM: Province 2 saw 132 fresh cases of coronavirus on Saturday making the coronavirus caseload in the province 11, 845.

According to the Health Directorate of Province 2, the province saw 80 new cases in Sarlahi, 16 in Saptari, 14 in Bara, nine in Parsa, seven in Mahottari and five in Siraha district.

Likewise, Dhanusha saw one more case on Saturday.

Senior Public Health Administrator of Health Directorate of Province 2 Bijaya Jha stated that the cases were found in the swab samples tested at the National Public Health Laboratory in Kathmandu, Province Public Health Laboratory in Janakpur, Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital in Birgunj and Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Hospital in Rajbiraj.

Among the cases revealed on Saturday are 106 males and 26 females.

Similarly, 42 people returned home on Saturday. So far 6,311 people, including 712 women and 5,599 men have been discharged so far.
