160 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in ICU, 24 on ventilator support



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that 160 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 24 have been put on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, five persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, nine in Province 2, 109 in Bagmati Province, six in Gandaki Province, 22 in Province 5 and nine in Karnali Province.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Jageshwor Gautam also said that 21 in Bagmati, two in Province 5 and one in Sudurpaschim Province are on the ventilator support.
