Sexagenarian man dies of coronavirus in Biratnagar

BIRATNAGAR: A sexagenarian man died of the coronavirus in Biratnagar on Saturday afternoon.

A 69-year-old man from Biratnagar-8 died at the Koshi Hospital COVID-19 Treatment Center at around 12:30 pm, said Chief of Public Health Office, Morang Gyan Bahadur Basnet.

According to Basnet, the deceased had diabetes and high blood pressure.

Meanwhile, the number of deaths due to the coronavirus infection in Biratnagar has reached 17.
