2 army officials die of electric shock in Chitwan



CHITWAN: Two Nepal Army personnel have been electrocuted to death in Chitwan district.

Two army officials of Singha Nath Battalion based at Shaktikhor in Kalika municipality-8 died on Saturday morning.

“A Warrant Office First Class Raj Babu Shrestha (Subedar) and a lance corporal Sajan Kumal died while they were trimming trees in the compound of the battalion,” informed District Police Office, Chitwan.

Critically injured Shrestha died while being rushed to Bharatpur Hospital while Kumal breathed his last in the course of treatment, said police.
