ROLPA: Two persons of a family have died after a landslide buried their house in Lungri rural municipality-1 in Rolpa.

The deceased have been identified as Amar Garti Magar, 8, and Yubaraj Gharti Magar, 11, sons of Gyansingh Gharti Magar of the rural municipality, said Police Inspector Shankar Khadka, the spokesperson for District Police Office, Rolpa.

The landslide triggered by incessant rains buried their house while they were sleeping with their mother, grandmother and grandfather at the wee hours on Saturday.

The deceased’s father is in India for employment.
