KATHMANDU: The government has urged all offices, including government, non-government, banks, cooperatives, micro-finance institutions, among others having direct contact with the people and service seekers to provide services through electronic means.
The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has issued a circular to all concerned to implement the August 10 cabinet decision and make arrangements for maximum 50 percent employees to be present in the office alternately from Thursday.
The government has also decided to postpone all services that are not possible through online, virtual or electronic services until further notice.
The responsibility of service delivery and manpower management will be the responsibility of the concerned office in coordination with the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center.
Similarly, the government has also requested all concerned to not hold any kind of meetings, reviews, seminars, discussions, or gatherings except for the urgent ones as the infection of COVID-19 has increased of late.
