Karnali Pradesh reports 21 coronavirus cases on Sunday



SIMIKOT: With 21 new cases in the last 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 1,616 in Karnali Pradesh on Sunday.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Karnali Pradesh, 11 infected are from Surkhet, seven are from Kalikot and two are from Rukum West.

The new cases were confirmed during swab tests at Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, Jumla, PCR Lab set up in Chaurjahari Municipality and District Hospital, Dailekh.

As many as 1,616 cases of coronavirus are in Karnali Pradesh, of which 1,408 have recovered after treatment and six people have died from deadly virus so far.
