Sudurpaschim CM asks federal government to set up security posts in Kalapani



DHANGADHI: Sudurpaschim State government has asked the federal government to mobilize a team for the onsite monitoring of the disputed Lipu Lekh area in the State where the Indian government has constructed a link road.

Chief Minister of the State, Trilochan Bhatta, said that the federal government now needs to come up with a clear position at the earliest in this regard.

Bhatta also said that his government has recommended the federal government to establish security posts in the region.

Chief Minister Bhatta also urged the federal government to hold diplomatic talks with the Indian side to resolve the issue once and for all.

He said that his government would extend all possible support to the federal government in this regard.
