Two youths missing after being swept away by river

GORKHA: A 14-year-old boy of Gandaki rural municipality-2, Pangkhola went missing after being swept away by the Trishuli River.

Bikash Chepang of Rudra Bahadur Chepang was swept away while he was fishing with his father in the Trishuli River on Sunday, said DSP Basu Dev Khatiwada of District Police Office, Gorkha.

Ward member Min Bahadur Sunar said the police and the locals are searching the missing boy.

Similarly, a youth of Shahid rural municipality of Gorkha went  missing after being swept away by the Marshyangdi River.

The river swept away 19-year-old Krishna Bahadur Pun of Barendanda rural municipality-1 while he was swimming in the River.

Police said they are searching both the missing people.
