UK reports 31, 855 deaths, 219, 183 infection cases



KATHMANDU: The death toll in the United Kingdom (UK) from Coronavirus pandemic has reached 31, 855 after 268 died in the last 24 hours as of Monday morning.

According to Worldometer, with 3, 923 new cases,  the number of infection cases has surged to 219, 183.

Currently, 186, 984 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.   UK has performed tests on 1,631,561 people so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 212 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 283,846 and infecting 4,179,720 people as of Monday morning.
