Thunderbolt kills one in Baglung



BAGLUNG: The thunderbolt has struck a young man dead in Baglung Municipality-13, Galuwa Baglung on Saturday afternoon.

The thunderbolt that occurred at 4 pm on Saturday struck Shankar Rijal 26 of Baglung-13, Galuwa getting him badly injured who died while undergoing treatment at the Baglung-based Dhaulagiri Hospital.

According to SP Nava Raj Bhatta of Baglung District Police Office, Reshmi Bhatta. 20, has also been badly injured.

According to police, a buffalo at Rijal’s shed has also been struck dead by the thunder.

The thunderbolt has killed a buffalo at Baglung-12, Bardanda, Amalachour.

There had been a series of thunderbolts in Baglung on Saturday afternoon. The details of other damages are still to come.
