259 samples of Far Western Province show COVID-19 negative



DHANGADHI: Far Western Province has collected the sample of 695 corona virus suspected people till Friday. 259 results received so far has shown corona virus negative result.

As per the details offered by the Ministry for Social Development of Far Western Province all results of the test that the province received have been corona-virus negative. The Ministry has received 259 results till Friday.

Narendra Singh Karki, the chief of Health Division of the province shared that 432 results are still to come.

He further added that the province has been executing Rapid Diagnostic Test(RDT) to identify the corona victims. The RDT has covered 489 from Kailali, 137 from Kanchanpur and 213 from Doti and the result of all thus tested has come negative.

There have been four corona virus  cases in Far Western Province so far 3 males and one female. All four are undergoing treatment in Seti Provincial Hospital Dhangadhi. According to the Ministry, there health status is good.

The Ministry informed that including 56 children there are 2513 people in quarantine in the province.

Similarly, 19 suspected victims are in isolation in various hospitals. 58 people who were kept in quarantine before have returned home after showing no symptoms of coronavirus.
