KATHMANDU: Defending champion Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC) has climbed to the third position in the Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League on Tuesday.

At the match played at the Saatdobato-based ANFA Complex, MMC defeated Nepal Police Club by 2-0.

Bimal Rana and Anjan Bista scored for MMC in the 32nd and 42nd minutes of the game respectively.

With the win, the defending champion has been placed third with 25 points from 12 matches.
