Former President Yadav says transparent ruling system boost democracy



CHITWAN: Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has said that rule of law, good governance, transparent ruling system, and economic discipline would provide a further boost to democracy, making its base consolidated,

Democracy would be strengthened in the presence of free media, he added.

Talking to media persons briefly here today, the former President said,” where democracy is stronger, media is free there.”

According to him, the government and the Federal Parliament own the responsibility to take the nation ahead on the basis of the co-existence of the people, communal unity and harmony.

Stating that development was possible only through cooperation and coordination among the three-tier government, he presented an idea of seeking a solution to the nation’s issue through the Federal Parliament.

He stressed on the giving feel of full democracy and republic to the people by maintaining unity amidst geographical and communal diversities.
