Prof. Dr. Subedi bags ‘Bhadrakumari Ghale Personality Award’



KATHMANDU: Prof. Dr. Abhi Subedi has won the ‘Bhadrakumari Ghale Personality Award, 2076’. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 100,000.

Likewise, litterateurs Kaji Roshan and Sher Bahadur Gurung and journalist Bhairab Risal have been honored each with the ‘Bhadrakumari Ghale Creation Award, 2076’.

The award carries a purse of Rs 50,000. Litterateurs Aananda Dev Bhatta, Sushila Bhatta, and Sunita Gurung have been awarded the same award each. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000.

Similarly, the ‘Bhadrakumari Ghale Literature Award’ has been conferred each on litterateurs Gita Karki, Saraswati Joshi, Bimaya Tamang, Goma Katawal and Pashupati Gurung. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 10,000.

Also, Bhagawati Basnet, Rachana Shrestha, Rajesh Khanal, Usha Lohani, Sapana Thami, and Aruna Khatri were also honored with Rs 5,000 cash each. Prof Basudev Tripathi, Rajendra Subedi, Kabita Ale, Urmila Dangol, Yubaraj Gurung and Suchitra Shrestha were also honored.

Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizen Parbat Gurung handed the awards amid the 16th anniversary and general assembly of the Bhadrakumari Ghale Sewa Sadan.

On the occasion, praising the Sewa Sadan, minister Gurung pledged the government’s commitments to recognize its work.
