13 gamblers held with Rs 375,490 cash



KATHMANDU: Police arrested 13 gamblers along with Rs 375,490 in cash and other paraphernalia from New Baneshwar on Friday evening.

Acting on a tip-off that the gambling was underway, a team of police from Metropolitan Police Circle, Baneshwar raided a house and arrested 13 gamblers in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-31.

According to DSP Durga Raj Regmi, the gambling was underway in the house of Shambhu Kumar Shrestha.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking gamblers into custody.
