Nepal’s WC Qualifiers home journey to begin in March 2021

KATHMANDU: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced the fixtures of the second round of Asian leg of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers.

Nepal, placed in Group B, will play against Chinese Taipei on 25 March, 2021. Likewise, it will play against Australia on 30 March.

Similarly, Nepal will play against Jordan on 7 June, 2021.

The matches were earlier scheduled for March-April this year. However, they were postponed to October-November, and again rescheduled to March to 2021.

Nepal has three points from the four matches played in 2020. Nepal last played with Kuwait in Bhutan in the qualifiers.

Likewise, Nepal will host the remaining matches of the qualifiers.
