KATHMANDU: The domestic and international flights which remained affected due to thick fogs at Tribuvan International Airport (TIA) this morning have resumed.

According to Dev Chandra Lal Karna, the General Director of TIA, the regular flights have resumed after the visibility improved.  Airlines companies have started operating flights to hilly and remote districts with the improvement of visibility.

Both international and domestic flights to and from TIA were badly affected due to thick fogs this morning.  Only an airbus of Himalaya Airlines from Kunming of China had landed at TIA this morning.

The TIA was overcast with thick mist and fogs immediately after the aircraft touched down the airport at 6:30 am this morning, hitting both domestic and international flights.
