Four Nepalis entering India illegally arrested

BAITADI: The Indian police have arrested four Nepalis while illegally entering India via tube in Mahakali River.

The arrested ones were from Baitadi district who were sneaking into India in prospects of better job opportunities since the Jhulaghat border point with India was shut down since the nation-wide lockdown imposed by the federal government to contain the Coronavirus spread.

The joint patrolling team of the Indian Police and Seema Surakshay Bal (SSB) had held Pushkar Bohora, Gajendra Bohora, Janak Bohora and Bir Bahadur Bohora of Bungal Municipality on Tuesday, said Indian journalist Pramod Bhatta quoting the Indian police.

All the arrested ones will be produced in court today.
