Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll hits 1,174 with 26 new fatalities

KATHMANDU: A total of 26 people died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus death toll has reached 1,174 as of Wednesday afternoon with the new deaths.

Similarly, as many as 2,569 people were diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 has reached 2,02,329 with fresh cases as of Wednesday afternoon.

A total of 1,666 individuals were discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 162243 in the country.

Nepal currently has 38,912 active cases.

Likewise, 1,109 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.

As many as 26 people succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death tally in the country to 1,174, the Ministry confirmed.
