Himani Trust distributes health materials

KATHMANDU: At the time when the world is combating against COVID-19, Himani Trust is all set in arranging for the health materials required to combat the pandemic.

In collaboration with the Rotary Club of New Road City Kathmandu, the Trust has provided two pcs of High Flow Nasal Canyola to Patan Hospital.

According to Imram Ansari, the Medical Director of Patan Health Science Academy, High Flow Nasasl Canyola is regarded as useful in helping the people with respiratory issues though it’s a new technology in Nepal.

Earlier, the Trust had handed 20 million rupees to Nepal Government to help it in the combat against coronavirus pandemic.

Uttam Niraula, the Manager of the Trust informed that the Trust has spent more than 30 million rupees in distributing health safety materials and kits including personal protect kits to the health workers and hospital staffers.

The trust has also been working to provide safe drinking water, hand wash, sanitizer and medicines to the people living near the borders.

According to Niraula, the Trust has also been distributing food every day to more than 500 people badly affected by the pandemic.
