RPP expands Central Committee, inducts 400 new members



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) inducted 400 new members to the Central Committee.

With the new members, the number of the party’s central members has reached 727.

According to party sources, the Central Committee has been expanded on the basis of the share of three party chairpersons— Kamal Thapa, Pashupati Shumsher Rana and Prakash Chandra Lohani.

The statement issued by the party on Sunday stated that the Central Committee has been expanded with the consent of the three chairpersons as per the party’s constitution and charter.

Earlier, RPP had formed a 327-member Central Committee. At the same time, it had formed an 82-member Performance Committee and a 13-member Secretariat Working Committee.
