CIAA Chief Ghimire tests coronavirus positive



KATHMANDU: The Chief Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Nabin Kumar Ghimire is found coronavirus positive on Tuesday.

Earlier, the anti-graft body had seen 22 coronavirus cases among its staffs on August 6.

After the lifting of lockdown on July 23, the country has seen alarming increase in the coronavirus cases. Kathmandu Valley saw 134 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the CIAA has urged its staff to come to the office only after a PCR test.
