Russia approves first Covid-19 vaccine for use, Putin’s daughter inoculated

MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin said a coronavirus vaccine developed in Russia has been registered for use, and his daughter has already been inoculated, international media reports have said.

Putin said that the vaccine has “proven efficient” during tests and emphasized that the vaccine underwent all necessary tests.

According to him, one of his two daughters received a shot of the vaccine and is doing well.

Russian authorities said medical worker and teachers will be the first to be inoculated.

Russia has become the first country to register a coronavirus vaccine.
