Bara, Parsa districts report 55 new cases of COVID-19

PARSA: As many as 55 new cases of coronavirus – 17 female and 35 male — have been reported in Parsa and Bara districts.

Tests carried out at the Narayani Hospital Laboratory showed 55 positive reports last night.

Among them 52 are from Bara and three from Parsa, Dr Niraj Kumar Singh said adding that 9 are security personnel.

Dr Singh said that 27 people were found to have contracted coronavirus in the course of contact tracing.

Likewise, 5 among those infected ones are staffers at the Narayani Hospital.
