Four members of a family killed as their house collapses in Doti



DOTI: Four members of a family have been killed after their house caved in at Doti Adharsha rural municipality-1, Banjhkakani in the district on Monday night.

The deceased have been identified as 26-year-old Bishna BK, Paras BK, 9, Siru BK, 4, and nine-month-old Kati BK, confirmed Police Inspector Bir Bahadur Budhaair, chief of Area Police Office, Adarsha.

Loge Luhar, his mother Pana BK, mother-in-law Jhakari BK, brother-in-law Indra BK,13, and daughter Ashmita BK, who were in the house, sustained injuries in the incident.

Made of mud and stone, the house crumbled due to incessant rains, according to police.

The injured have been taken to Shaileshwari Hospital based in Dipayal for treatment. They have head, backbone and hand injuries, said Police Inspector Budhaair
