KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that the diverse religion, culture and traditions were an indicator of our civilization and richness.

In a message today on the occasion of Srikrishna Janmashtami festival, President Bhandari has said the historical-cultural practices bind our society into a thread of unity while promoting religious tolerance and mutual harmony.

Extending best wishes to all Nepali brothers and sisters at home and abroad on the occasion, the President has also wished that the festival of Srikrishna Janmashtami generates a feeling of mutual love, affection and friendship among all Nepalis to further consolidate the emotional unity among us all.
