Rainfall likely for next three days



KATHMANDU: The weather will likely remain cloudy with chances of rainfall across the country in the next three days as the monsoon has become active of late, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

The division further states that the monsoon is nearer to low pressure line in Terai belt that could cause the rainfall across the country until Monday. The rainfall is witnessed in some parts of all seven states and it could be continued in most of the parts in all states after this afternoon.

The Division has further alerted that heavy rainfall could be witnessed in some parts of State-1, State-2, Bagmati State and Gandaki State on Saturday and Monday. It is stated that slight and heavy rainfall could be seen across the country on Sunday.

According to the Division, the minimum temperature of Kathmandu today is 21 degree Celsius in lowest and 27 degree Celsius in highest.

The lowest temperature today has been recorded in Jumla with 9.7 degree Celsius and highest in Deepayal with 33.5 degree Celsius. RSS
