Time card for vehicles enforced from today

KATHMANDU: The time card rule introduced by the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) to operate essential vehicles inside Kathmandu Valley has been enforced from today.

Bhim Prasad Dhakal, Chief at MTPD, said vehicles are required to operate on the stimulated time from today.

A meeting between Chief District Officers, Security Forces, and Division has decided to enforce the time card rule for the vehicles strictly.

According to the rule, vehicles belonging to government offices should operate between 9-10 am in the morning and 5-6 pm in the evening.

Similarly, vehicles carrying vegetables and essential goods should be allowed to operate only before 10 am, vehicles of banks and financial institutions should reach office between 9-10 am in the morning and return from 3-5 in the evening.
