US reports 16, 663 deaths, with 1,872 in 24 hrs



KATHMANDU: The death toll from Coronavirus in the United States of America (USA) has continued to rise. As many as 1, 872 people died in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 16, 663 as of Friday morning, according to Worldometer.

With 33, 256 new cases, the total infection cases has climbed to 468, 286 in the country.

Currently, 426, 307 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across America, of which 10, 011 are critical. Meanwhile, 25, 312 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China, the novel Coronavirus has speared to 209 countries including international conveyances across the world as of Friday morning.
