Four Nepalis infected with coronavirus: 3 abroad, one in Nepal



KATHMANDU: With the coronavirus continuing its march across the world, the deadly virus has not spared Nepali people, too.

A total of four Nepalis have been infected with the novel virus so far. Three Nepalis have been infected abroad while the other, who has returned home from a foreign country, has tested positive for the COVID19.

According to concerned officials, two Nepalis have been infected in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), one in Australia while the other, who has returned home from China, has been infected.

According to Gulf Today, a total of 59 people including two Nepali nationals have been infected in the UAE.

Similarly, a Nepali migrant worker in Australia has tested positive for coronavirus. He had left for Australia from Nepal via Singapore on February 26.
