St. Xavier’s College wins nationwide quiz contest

DHARAN: Nationwide plus two-level match quiz contest organized by Xavier International School concluded here on Monday.

Students from 32 colleges from Biratnagar, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Birgunj and other places participate in the quiz contest that kicked off on Friday.

St. Xavier’s College, Kathmandu was declared first, Aroma College, Chitwan became second as Motherland College, Pokhara was announced third. Times International College, Kathmandu grabbed a consolation prize.

The winner got Rs 50,000 in cash, trophy, medal, certificate and a full scholarship for engineering. Likewise, second, third and fourth received Rs 25,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively along with medal, trophy and certificate.

Vice-principal of Xavier International School Dipen Dahal, Program Coordinator Niraj Sharma, Vice-principal Sujan Basnet among others handed over the awards.
