16 quake-damaged govt offices rebuilt so far in Lalitpur

LALITPUR: Sixteen government offices damaged by the Gorkha earthquake on April 25 and a major aftershock on May 12, 2015, have been rebuilt so far in Lalitpur district.

The District Project Implementation Unit (Building) under the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA)’s Central Project Implementation Unit (Building) was given the responsibility of reconstructing 21 of the government office buildings damaged due to the earthquake.

Project chief Chandra Kaji Gurung said the reconstruction of 16 of the 21 buildings, for which approval was given to the District Project Implementation Unit (Building) for rebuilding, has been completed.
